A small foundation with a clear purpose.
Savithri Foundation, Inc. was incorporated in Illinois in 2020 and recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) public charity the same year. It is run entirely by volunteers.
Mission
Uplift communities. Empower individuals.
We do this in two ways: by providing necessities to people who cannot meet their basic needs, and by funding education for students who could not otherwise afford it.
Our grants and scholarships are limited to organizations and individuals who meet our criteria. For organizations, that means 501(c)(3) nonprofits that distribute food, provide access to healthy living, or are Hindu temples. For individuals, it means low-income high school students in the greater Chicago area or in India who are pursuing higher education.
